Patriotic crochet pattern - coaster
Patriotic
Crochet Coaster is a simple but yet very charming project that you can quickly
finish and decorate your home to celebrate America on 4th of July.
But
off course you don’t need to use them only on Independence Days Celebrations,
you can use them year around to show your love for our nation.
They
make great housewarming gifts to be used on Veterans Day, Flag Day or Memorial
Day. The possibilities are endless to make a festive and colorful decoration.
You
can also switch the colors and make it a totally different celebration gift
such as birthdays or Mother’s Day. You can find a ad free PDF file full of step by step pictures on my Etsy Store.
Yarn Selection for crochet coaster or mug rug
When
choosing the correct yarn for your patriotic crochet coaster or any other
crochet item, you need to take into consideration the purpose of your project.
Although
it is quick warm outside, you might want to use your mug rug when drinking your
hot coffee in the morning. If you’re using it with anything hot, the best
option is to use 100% cotton yarn.
The
cotton yarn has a good resistance to heat and will give your coaster a longer
life expectance.
